Platte Valley Medical Center, a 98-bed Level III Trauma Center, has been serving the Brighton community and surrounding areas for over 55 years. Our Ambulatory Care Oncology department sees an average of 16-20 patients daily and as a RN with us, you would be directly responsible for providing antibiotics and shots as well as performing blood draws and transfusions on our patients. We are proud to be a PlaneTree facility, demonstrating our commitment to providing patient-centered care.
This position would be scheduled Monday through Friday – no scheduled call, weekends or holidays.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Implement therapeutic interventions and diagnostic procedures for the adult oncology and ambulatory care population
Provide chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, intravenous and central line catheter care, medication administration, patient and family education, emergency care, patient follow-up, maintenance of patient care records and scheduling of treatments
Promote interdisciplinary teamwork with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff to provide high-quality, safe patient care
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or eligibility to obtain, required
BLS, required before working independently
Current/prior experience working in an Oncology nursing practice, required
Current/prior experience with Infusions, required
Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification, required
OCN certification, preferred
