We are currently seeking a Clinical Manager of Outpatient Adult Oncology Services.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the Cancer Center. The successful candidate will provide operations support for the director and staff in the Cancer Center, Outpatient Infusion Center and Radiation Oncology. Responsibilities include assisting the Director with annual goal setting and the implementation of strategies to achieve those goals, which includes the management of clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain, budgeting, staffing, employee performance evaluations, quality improvement, professional development, and internal and external regulatory and survey requirements. The Clinical Manager also collaborates with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision/management of patient care; works closely with physicians and staff ensuring that the unit maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient and family as well as the organization; and leads the unit while creating and empowering teams to embrace and implement change that will improve clinical, operational and financial performance.
Minimum qualifications include a CA RN license, BSN (Master' preferred), 3+ years of experience in an outpatient oncology setting, 3 years of clinical leadership experience, BLS certification, ability to organize, prioritize and delegate appropriately and demonstrated management, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Oncology, Nurse Executive or Nurse Executive-Advance certification preferred.
