The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking a full timeDirector-Interventional Endoscopy & Infusion Services to support its missions of academics, healthcare, and research. Please see below for the position description and requirements.
The Director-Interventional Endoscopy & Infusion Services develops and manages the strategic plan, business development, and financial objectives of the Interventional Endoscopy and Infusion Center. The director also, plans, organizes, directs, evaluates, and coordinates clinical programs among departments/divisions providing services in the centers. The director proactively manages relationships with staff, physicians, and senior management. The director directly responsible for the financial and quality outcomes for both hospital and ambulatory/outpatient activities of assigned areas.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 4 years of progressive leadership experience. Master’s degree is preferred. Experience cannot be substituted for educational requirement. Procedure Area, OR, or ICU experience required.
Certifications, Licenses, or Registration Required: Valid RN license, ANCC certification in Nursing Administration or ACHE certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of interventional procedures and administrative procedures to support program development.
Strong business acumen, ability to analyze and interpret data, compile complex reports and develop presentations.
Demonstration of high-level interpersonal skills (communication, relationship, and negotiation).
