Overview

Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our amazing Level One Emergency Department.  The #1 city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement!  Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. 

**$10k sign-on bonus offered to qualified candidates

Schedule: Full Time - Nights - 36 hours per week

Unit Summary

Busy ER in level One Trauma Hospital -Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center

Our staff are proficient in Stroke and STEMI activations and established care guidelines

This is a fast-paced ER environment whose success is dependent on teamwork. We have 50 exam rooms and 6 trauma bays

We work closely with ED Providers, Social Workers, Registration, etc. because we are truly in it together!

The Emergency department primarily cares for adult populations, but we do care for pediatric patients as needed.

Nurses can be involved in Improvement projects, Shared Governance, department committees and councils. Everyone's voice matters

This unit provides staff the ability to learn new skills, improve time management, and be a part of team that is focused on making ED experiences 'Better for Everyone'

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

- MAJOR - Nursing

- EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of RN Experience

1 Year of ER Nurse experience required

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
       Registered Nurse (RN)

       Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

* Sign On Bonus requires 2 years of  RN experience in ER
